THE SHOVEL | The National Ballet of Canada offers free dance lessons to future ballerinas at home

0

The first soloist of the National Ballet of Canada, Tina Pereira, has morning coffee while dancing.

With the almost endless stream of bad news associated with the COVID crisis, people could use ways to stay grounded other than Netflix, food, and libations.

The National Ballet of Canada has launched a series of free ballet lessons with some of the country’s most accomplished and inspiring artists, including lead dancer Grata Hodgkinson, lead soloist Tina Pereira and soloist Kota Sato on their Instagram page.

People are encouraged to follow in the comfort of their own homes – Tutus optional.

Happy dancing!
