Child Bollywood stars Shanaya Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor appear to be working on improving their ballet skills. The two Kapoor sisters were featured in an Instagram post shared by acclaimed choreographer Charvi Bhardwaj. On Thursday, Charvi took to the media sharing platform and posted a photo of one of her classes where her students were none other than the daughters of film producer Boney Kapoor and actor Sanjay Kapoor. Charvi is seen standing in the middle as she holds the phone to pick up a mirror as Khushi and Shanaya strike a classic Kathak-inspired pose next to her.

In the caption, Charvi wrote that she only posts the photo because she likes it “a little too much”. She further wrote that the photo captures her classy shenanigans with the pretty tall women Khushi and Shanaya. The post was liked by over a thousand Instagram users.

Shanaya honed her skills to make her Bollywood debut very soon. The 21-year-old previously worked as an assistant director in Jahnvi Gunjan Saxena’s 2020 film The Kargil Girl. She also made her Instagram profile public on Friday and was greeted on board by fellow family members Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, among others.

Shanaya also made an appearance on the Netflix original show, Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, where she was seen portraying India at the Paris Ball in 2019. For her Bal Paris debut, Shanaya wore a gorgeous red dress from the French designer Lecoanet Hemant.

Meanwhile, Khushi is also keeping her Instagram family up to date with her glamorous outings and selfies. One of the most recent articles comes from her visit to Delhi where she is hosting a gala with her friends.

Khushi and Shanaya are cousins. While Khushi was born to director Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi, Shanaya is the daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor.

A passionate classical dancer, Ameya Lagudu aims to bring Indian art and culture to global platforms through dance.

Few people manage to find their calling before the end of their life. But Ameya Lagudu, a daughter of Visakhapatnam, is determined to take classical dance forms to new heights, make their presence felt on global platforms and pass it on to future generations.

Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam represent the world for the class VIII daughter of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar.

Putting the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar – 2021 in the art and culture category, she says that dancing has become an integral part of her life as it gives her immense joy and keeps her focused. “I spend an hour a day practicing dancing. I feel more at peace when I dance”, shares the 12-year-old girl with the Womenia.

Ameya says she is grateful to her parents for giving unconditional support to her business. “They spotted my skills when I was barely four years old. While my father LT Murthulu quit a favorite job in a multinational company to become an engineering consultant, my mother L. Kamala said goodbye to her teaching profession to take on the role of a housewife and help me. to make my dreams come true, ”Ameya recalls.

After quitting their jobs, Ameya’s parents ensured that their only daughter received the best training from gurus located in remote areas of South India. “Since I was exposed to different gurus, I could not only hone my skills in both Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam, but also experiment with various styles,” says Ameya, who has won eight international awards, nine national awards and 18 state price. She also claimed 10 world records, including Guinness World Records for the greatest presentation of Kuchipudi with 6,117 participants and the Asia Book of Records for playing Bharatanatyam on a clay pot and brass plaque, holding lamps.

When asked how she manages to strike a balance between dancing and studying, she replies, “My school has been very supportive of me by encouraging me to disentangle my creative pursuits. Apparently dancing has never stopped me from focusing on my studies which I am also good at, ”says a confident Ameya. Drawn to the performing arts since childhood, Ameya says she aims to bring Indian art and culture to a global platform through dance and pass the know-how on to future generations.

Ahead of Republic Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Ameya and her parents virtually via video conference. The Indian government annually presents Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar in various categories to children of outstanding ability and outstanding achievement in innovation, education, sports, arts, culture, social service and bravery.
