Aleksei Shipilov and Julia Mitina, a Latin American ballroom couple from Russia, will perform at the monthly Premier ballroom dance event at the Community Center of the Holy Trinity Greek Church in Bridgeport on July 27.

Aleksei Shipilov and Julia Mitina, a Latin American ballroom couple from Russia, will perform at the monthly Premier Ballroom ballroom dance event at the Holy Trinity Greek Church Community Center in Bridgeport on Saturday evening July 27 .

Shipilov and Mitina’s show follows the couple’s competitive victories after winning the Philadelphia Dancesport competition in their US debut and then winning the New York vs New Jersey Latin Dance Challenge. The couple had won or were Grand Finalists in seven European countries before.

The time of the show is at 9:30 p.m. with general dancing from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. to the music of DJ MB Music. A dance class will be given at 8 p.m. Singles and couples are welcome.
